Terms
Last updated 11 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Volka Pty Ltd (ABN 90 683 609 412), Western Australia, which runs Metcard. By making an account you agree to them. Questions go to hello@metcard.app.
Your account
- You need to be 16 or older and use an email address you control.
- Keep your sign-in codes to yourself. Anything done through your account is your responsibility.
Your card and what's on it
- You own what you put on your card. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you share your card with, only so we can run the service.
- Only put on your card what you have the right to share, including other people's logos, photos and codes.
Things you can't do
- Pretend to be someone else or another business.
- Use a card to trick people, collect passwords or payment details, or link to harmful software.
- Post anything illegal, hateful, sexually explicit or threatening.
- Send spam through Swap cards or one-time links.
- Try to break, overload or get around the security of Metcard.
We can take a card down or close an account that breaks these rules. Where it is safe to, we will tell you why.
Plans and payment
- Free gives you one card with an open link.
- Pro costs A$4.99 a month or A$49 a year and adds the live QR code, one-time links, activity, products, up to five cards and no footer.
- Pro renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
- Prices are in Australian dollars. Volka Pty Ltd is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged.
Refunds and your rights
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. Outside of them, payments are not refundable for partly used periods.
The service
- We work to keep Metcard available and secure, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted.
- We may change features over time. If we remove something you pay for, we will tell you first.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost business.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We can close accounts that break these terms, or end the service with reasonable notice.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia, Australia.
